Irish-born producer and DJ LUCIID has officially released his debut album REELUV, out now via Be Yourself Music. Spanning 13 tracks — including a bonus Schranz edit — the record marks a major turning point for an artist who first broke through during the global hard techno explosion, but never wanted to be boxed into a single sound.

The release arrives with serious momentum behind it. The first three EPs from the REELUV project have already generated more than 2 million combined streams, while LUCIID has crossed the 1 million monthly listeners mark on Spotify. Singles like “Hard Truths”, “Pray”, and “Charm” all landed inside Beatport’s Hard Techno Top 10, proving the project’s impact long before the full album officially dropped.
But REELUV is far more than a collection of peak-time weapons. Written during a period of creative burnout and personal reflection, the album captures LUCIID reconnecting with music on a deeper level after years of pressure, touring, and expectations. Some tracks date back to the pandemic years — including “6AM” and “Sakura,” both created while Luke was studying in Dundalk — while others were finished in hotel rooms during relentless touring across Europe.

The meaning behind the title is direct: REELUV is about falling back in love with music again. Musically, the album moves far beyond hard techno. Schranz, melodic techno, euphoric trance, breakbeat, and cinematic electronics all coexist across the record without ever feeling forced. Heavy warehouse drums collide with emotional trance-inspired breakdowns, while cinematic textures and vocal-led moments add surprising depth throughout.
“I’ve called it Reeluv because it’s about falling in love with music as an art form again. My scene has, to a point, really stepped away from a focus on music itself, demanding online attention instead. I want this record, and all its genres, to bring people back to music.”
– says LUCIID

Instead of chasing trends or algorithm-friendly singles, LUCIID chose to release the album gradually through multiple EPs, encouraging listeners to spend time with the music rather than consume it in a single scroll. It’s a clear rejection of swipe culture — and a statement about the kind of artist he wants to become moving forward.
“This album is not a quick hit. It is a collection that brings you on a journey through emotion, energy, and my own personal struggles. I want people to feel an emotional connection to each song.”
– LUCIID explains
With REELUV, LUCIID isn’t abandoning the sound that introduced him to the world — he’s expanding it into something far more personal, ambitious, and emotionally honest.
