Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike kicked off their 2026 Ushuaïa Ibiza residency in spectacular fashion last night, joining forces with Tomorrowland to unveil the immersive “Planaxis” universe. Running every Wednesday from 6 May until 30 September 2026, the residency marks the return of one of Ibiza’s most iconic weekly events, blending Tomorrowland’s signature storytelling with the high-energy performances of the Belgian duo.
Inspired by The Story of Planaxis, Tomorrowland’s legendary underwater concept, the bespoke production transformed Ushuaïa Ibiza into a dreamlike aquatic world, complete with ocean-inspired scenery, cinematic visuals and large-scale stage design. Guests were immediately transported into an immersive environment where cutting-edge production met the open-air magic of Ibiza.
Fresh off the global success of their latest single “Makina Time” with Marlon Hoffstadt and DJ Konik, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike once again showcased their status as one of the most influential acts in electronic music, delivering a high-energy set packed with big room anthems, electro hits and crowd favourites.

The opening night featured special guest performances from Oliver Heldens and Agents Of Time, each adding their own sonic identity to the packed dancefloor. The response from the crowd confirmed the “Planaxis” concept as one of the standout Ibiza productions of the summer season, with Tomorrowland once again pushing the boundaries of live entertainment through immersive design and storytelling.
The residency will continue across 19 exclusive dates throughout the summer, bringing together some of the biggest names in electronic music every Wednesday night. In the coming months, fans can look forward to performances from Afrojack, ALOK, Tungevaag, Korolova, Novah, MATTN, Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet, Robin Schulz, Gabry Ponte, Joel Corry, HALŌ and many more.
The combination of world-class music, immersive storytelling, and Ushuaïa Ibiza’s legendary open-air atmosphere once again proved to be an unbeatable formula for international dance music fans.Thousands of attendees from across the globe gathered for the opening night, creating an electric atmosphere from the very first beat until the final track.
As the night unfolded under the Balearic sky, Ushuaïa Ibiza once again proved its status as a global hub for large-scale electronic music experiences, with Planaxis setting the tone for another landmark summer season on the island.
