Sick Individuals are back with their latest single “Sunrise”, released via Tomorrowland Music, marking a confident return to the progressive house sound that helped define their rise. Known for balancing emotion with high-impact energy, the Dutch duo once again deliver a track that feels equally at home on massive festival stages and intimate dancefloors.

With over 500 million global streams and a catalogue of standout releases, Jim and Ray have long secured their place within the international dance music scene. Their music continues to earn support from some of the biggest names in the industry, while their touring history includes appearances at leading festivals such as Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, Creamfields, Mysteryland, Ushuaïa and S2O.

The duo’s journey began at a Dutch conservatory, where a shared passion for electronic music sparked their collaboration. Drawing inspiration from acts like Daft Punk, Axwell, Bingo Players and Swedish House Mafia, they developed a signature house sound that has resonated with audiences worldwide since launching the Sick Individuals project in 2009. Over the years, they’ve worked alongside names like Alesso, Hardwell and Nicky Romero, while also delivering official remixes for global superstars including Madonna, Rihanna and Avicii.

Sick Individuals is built on a strong friendship and a unified creative vision. Their productions are defined by attention to detail and an instinctive studio approach, resulting in music that feels both polished and authentic. Whether performing at major festivals or club settings, they consistently bring a vibrant, infectious energy, further amplified by their custom live concept “THIS IS SICK,” which seamlessly blends music and visuals into an immersive experience.

Sunrise” captures a powerful emotional moment on the dancefloor, balancing uplifting melodies with a sense of introspection.

“Sunrise is one of those records that just stayed with us from the very first moment. Even after hundreds of hours in the studio, we never got tired of the chords or the energy, it just kept pulling us back in. The track is about connection, about wanting to hold on to a moment a little longer while losing yourself in the music. From a musical perspective, it represents exactly where we are right now, emotional but still powerful enough for the biggest stages.”

Early reactions from live audiences have already highlighted the track’s impact, with crowds quickly connecting to its uplifting yet slightly melancholic atmosphere. Supported by leading DJs across the scene, “Sunrise” has been building steady momentum on dancefloors ahead of its official release.

With more music on the way and a busy international touring schedule ahead, Sick Individuals continue to evolve while staying true to the sound that first put them on the map—reaffirming their position among the key names in modern electronic music.
