The Legendary Eric Prydz for the First Time at the Czech “Beats For Love” Festival

In less than four months, the largest open-air dance party marathon will start. Beats for Love is celebrating its tenth anniversary, and on this occasion, organizers will bring the biggest stars of the world dance scene to the Czech Republic. In addition to the previously announced David Guetta, the Swedish legend, DJ, and producer Eric Prydz.

Eric Prydz (47 years old), who may be known to his fans under the stage names Pryda or Cirez D, is one of the most prominent personalities in the house and electronic scene. His megahit “Call on Me” catapulted him to the top of many mainstream charts in 2004 and earned his place in house music history. His song “Pyanoo” received a similar response and received a Grammy nomination for the track “Proper Education”. With his colleagues Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello, he founded the Swedish House Mafia project, which Prydz was only a part of initially. Thanks to his work, he has also achieved recognition within the underground community of electronic dance music, and his next song “Opus” is still one of the most played songs not only at clubs but also at open-air events.

“Eric Prydz will be performing at the festival in the Czech Republic for the first time in his career and we are thrilled to have booked him for the tenth anniversary of our festival. Just from the terms and conditions of our cooperation, it is clear that his show will be truly unforgettable! Negotiations and efforts for it have been going on for years and we finally succeeded,” adds the festival director Kamil Rudolf enthusiastically.

Eric Prydz’s much-awaited show can be enjoyed by fans on the main Love Stage by ČSOB on Thursday, July 4. In addition to Prydz and the previously mentioned world stars, other well-known performers will also perform on the main stage of the festival. There will also be the Italian three-member producer project Meduza, which has a Grammy nomination, the king of the world of drum and bass, Andy C, and A-Trak, who was ranked among the 50 most important names of the EDM scene by Rolling Stone magazine.

The Harmony House Square by Evropa 2 stage now presents several names that will surely please not only fans of the house scene. Josh Butler, Hannah Wants, Low Steppa, Jenn Getz & Alfie, and Raffa FL will perform on this stage. On the Future stage Proud, Anden, Enamour, Estiva, Hypaton, M.O.S., Magnificence, and Ferry Corsten, who is one of the pioneers and biggest names in trance music, will present their shows.
