September 12, 2025 – Canadian producer and DJ Rezz has unveiled her highly anticipated fifth studio album As The Pendulum Swings out now via HypnoVizion.

As The Pendulum Swings is a bold convergence of Rezz’s hypnotic signature and experimental instincts. The 13-track project balances nostalgia and innovation, referencing her early midtempo rhythms and slow techno drive while incorporating edgy electro and industrial elements. The record features tracks from Rezz’s vault like “Contorted” and “Telepathy,” both of which were early demos revitalized for a 2025 release, against the futuristic and cinematic soundscapes of “Running From Reality” and “Delirium.”
Exploring uncharted creative territory, the record sustains an off-kilter aesthetic with its unpredictable structures, textured layers, and refined sound design. It’s an evolution in sonic identity for Rezz that sees her masterfully fusing her earliest inspirations with the forward-thinking approach that has made her one of electronic music’s most distinctive voices.
The album features collaborators from across the globe, including iconic DJ/Producer Dillon Francis and French electro artist BRVMES (“HOW I DO IT”), Canadian duo Chuurch (“Telepathy”), Swedish musician Owl Vision (“Downward”), and New Orleans-based producer CABLE (“Glass Veins”) as well as previous collaborator k?d and HypnoVizion alumni EDDIE, fknsyd, and isqa.

“As The Pendulum Swings is a more mature version of my project. It reflects where I am in life as a 30 year old. I feel I have the clearest vision and desires and musically, this album plays a major role in that, as well as the aesthetics to my visual content and performances. This album means a lot to me because there’s quite a few old songs that were revamped for this. It feels nostalgic but also new. It really showcases the type of music I’m currently influenced by which feels great to say. I feel like I’ve evolved in the quality of the songs, and the direction is very specific. It capitalizes on industrial/slow techno elements.” – Rezz
As The Pendulum Swings also acts as a visual vessel, with its imagery, aesthetic, and stage design woven into the fabric of the project. Inspired by her groundbreaking PORTAL show, this project extends her vision across mediums, embodying the same hypnotic intensity whether experienced through headphones or via live performance.
Alongside the album release, Rezz has announced a headline tour slated for early 2026. The limited run five-date tour will take her to Brooklyn, Boston, Detroit, Houston and St. Louis where fans can experience As The Pendulum Swings in full. Ahead of the tour, Rezz will head to Washington’s Tacoma Dome for her anticipated PORTAL show, where she’ll make history as the venue’s first female electronic headliner, followed by her seventh annual REZZ ROCKS at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
