From O Beach Ibiza to Defected at Chinois — Perry Martin talks new music, big summer plans and launching Top Beat Records.
Perry Martin has been a staple in the Ibiza house scene for the past six years. 2025 saw him take the stage at iconic events like D4 Dance, House in Paradise, and multiple memorable performances at the legendary Pikes, as well as playing at the world-renowned Hï Ibiza, the biggest club in the world.
As 2026 kicked off, Perry hit a major milestone with his tracks being signed to Trax Records, alongside releases on 1980 Recordings and Great Stuff Recordings. With a fresh sound and a rapidly growing presence, he is also set to make his debut for the legendary Defected Records at Chinois Ibiza. Perry is quickly establishing himself as one of the hottest artists to watch in 2026.
INTERVIEW:
I’m here today with a very good friend of mine, the lovely Perry Martin. Perry, where are we today? Tell me about this amazing party, It’s the first one, isn’t it?
Yeah, it’s the opening party for House in Paradise at Old Beach Ibiza. I’ve been here now for ten years. It’s a great party and I’m just happy we’re here at the opening.
You’ve been very busy lately. You had your birthday — tell us a little bit about that, because that party seemed to go on longer than the Queen of England.
I threw a party called No Perry, No Party at Eden Ibiza for my birthday, which was great. I’m glad that the season has started and I’m just looking forward to it.
I’d like to say congratulations because you’re now DJing for Defected. How did that come about? You must be really pleased about it.
I started at D4 Dance last year and played a couple of sets. They then took me on for Defected, which is at Chinois. I’m there on the 2nd of July, so I’m buzzing about that.
Have you already thought about what kind of vibe you’re going to bring to that set?
That set was ready ten years ago.
We’ve got a bit of history together because we’ve DJed together before — and honestly, you’ve saved me many times. We also co-promote Ten Bag Rave together. Are we bringing that back?
Hopefully, yes.
What else have you got planned for this summer? Where do you see yourself by the end of the year?
I’m here every Wednesday. I’m at Pikes for Melon Bomb, which I’m excited about. Obviously Defected, and I’ve got one or two dates at Hï Ibiza in the Wild Corner. It’s looking to be a big year.
And let’s talk about your label as well. What’s happening with that?
I’ve just launched my new label, Top Beat Records, which is a mix between Deep House and House music. I’ve only just started, so there are loads of exciting things coming this year.
What’s your latest release?
My latest release is on Great Stuff Recordings and it’s coming out this Friday. It’s called Groove Musician, and Yeah Boyis my second EP. It’s actually my first full EP release, so I’m super excited.
