Kappa FuturFestival in Turin has announced an expansion of its cultural offering for 2026 with the debut of Taverna Futurista, a new immersive dining concept set to run across the festival’s three-day program from July 3–5. The experience will transform a dedicated space overlooking two stages into a meeting point for gastronomy, art, and music—bringing Michelin-starred chefs and regional Italian traditions into the heart of the festival.

Marking a new chapter for the event, Taverna Futurista is conceived as a multi-sensory journey inspired by Italy’s Futurist movement, reimagining the relationship between food, art, and contemporary culture within the context of Kappa FuturFestival. The three-day program is structured across both formal seated lunches and standing evening dining experiences, offering distinct yet complementary interpretations of Italian gastronomy.
On July 3, the program begins with a formal lunch tasting menu by Davide di Fabio of Dalla Gioconda, known for his precise and contemporary approach to Italian cuisine rooted in innovation and gastronomic memory. In the evening, the experience transitions into a Palermo street food concept by Tiziana Francoforte, whose cooking blends deep respect for Sicilian heritage with a refined, contemporary sensibility.

On July 4, lunch will be led by Francesco Brutto and Chiara Pavan of Venissa, whose Michelin-starred and Green Star-awarded work in the Venetian lagoon centers on sustainability, biodiversity, and a zero-waste philosophy. Dinner will follow with a Venetian bacaro by Brutto & Pavan, translating the convivial culture of Venice into a dynamic festival format.
On July 5, lunch will be presented by Enrico Crippa of the three-Michelin-starred Piazza Duomo, internationally celebrated for his refined, nature-driven cuisine and artistic sensibility. Dinner will close the program with a Piedmontese piola by Dennis Panzeri, chef of La Piola in Alba, offering a contemporary yet deeply authentic interpretation of local tradition.
Speaking of the collaboration, Crippa says,
“I have always looked at Kappa FuturFestival with curiosity and interest. Bringing my cuisine to a music festival for the first time stems from the friendship and respect I share with Gigi, Juni, and Gian Luca. Taverna Futurista will be an opportunity to express my culinary vision in a new context, where music and emotion meet.”

The project is led by creative directors Jacopo Dosio, Wine Director for the Ceretto family’s restaurants — including the three-Michelin-starred Piazza Duomo, La Piola, and Le Brunate — and Paolo Vizzari, a respected gastronomic narrator and curator whose work spans international media and cultural programming. Together, they have conceived Taverna Futurista as an immersive platform blending storytelling, sensory exploration, and world-class cuisine, further elevating Kappa FuturFestival’s cultural identity.
Panzeri echoes this sentiment, stating:
“I have always attended Kappa FuturFestival for the music. This year, I am bringing my own, made of scents, seasons, and memories of the Langhe. Techno and cuisine have much in common: both bring people together and create moments that last.“

As Kappa FuturFestival continues to evolve as a global meeting point for music, design, and culture, the introduction of Taverna Futurista adds a new dimension to the experience — positioning cuisine as an integral part of the festival’s creative ecosystem.

The festival’s sprawling six-stage production spans techno, house, and experimental frontiers within the industrial relics and green expanses of Parco Dora—a site symbolic of Italy’s creative transformation. Ranked 6th Best Festival in the World by DJ Mag (2025), Kappa FuturFestival has become a defining pillar of Italian culture, attracting audiences from over 150 countries and generating more than €30 million annually for the local economy.
Taverna Futurista will be accessible to all festival ticket holders, with reservations recommended due to limited capacity.
