David Guetta Makes History With Sixth DJ Mag Top 100 DJs Win

The world’s biggest DJs came together in Ibiza last night as UNVRS hosted the highly anticipated DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2026 ceremony — and LoudLife was there to experience it from the dancefloor. Invited to the ceremony at the world’s No.1 club, we arrived early enough to catch Lost Frequencies behind the decks before dancing our way through the night with Korolova, Anyma and Charlotte de Witte. The atmosphere inside UNVRS was electric, with the energy building throughout the night until the official ceremony finally revealed this year’s results.

And then came the big moment.

David Guetta has been crowned The World’s No.1 DJ for a record sixth time, making him the most successful artist in the history of the Top 100 DJs poll.

The French superstar once again took the top spot in the world’s largest publicly voted DJ poll, which received a record number of verified votes from 234 territories worldwide.

Guetta’s sixth victory caps another extraordinary year. His music has generated another five billion streams, while he became the first artist to score 22 No.1s on the US Dance Airplay chart. He also remains the most-streamed DJ on Spotify and one of the platform’s most-listened-to artists across all genres.

Speaking of his history-making win, David Guetta said:

“Wow, six times, that’s pretty serious! I’m very honoured. It’s been one of the most exciting years of my career, but what makes me happiest is seeing dance music reach a whole new level. DJs are now playing stadium shows that were once reserved for the biggest pop and rock acts. It’s not just about me — it’s the whole community. When one of us is successful, it’s good for everyone. I’m also very excited by the new generation of DJs and the energy they’re bringing to the scene. What I see in clubs is happiness — people dancing like there’s no tomorrow. It’s cool again to dance, have fun, smile and go crazy with your friends. It feels more genuine to me, and I love it. To become the first artist to win Top 100 DJs six times while being part of this moment for dance music is incredible.”

His words reflected the atmosphere inside UNVRS, where the night felt less like a traditional awards ceremony and more like a celebration of the global dance music community.

The ceremony also recognised some of the biggest forces shaping the scene right now. Charlotte de Witte was crowned The World’s No.1 Techno DJ, Indira Paganotto became the first-ever winner of The World’s No.1 Psy DJ award, while Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike took The World’s No.1 DJ Group title. Luciano received the Outstanding Contribution award and Anastazja was named Future Star.

On the dancefloor, the night continued with performances from David Guetta, Anyma, Charlotte de Witte, Vintage Culture, GORDO, Korolova and Anastazja.

The wider Top 100 also highlighted the continued rise of house and techno. Anyma climbed seven places to No.3, while Charlotte de Witte rose to No.6. Fred again.. jumped 17 places to No.16, and John Summit, Mau P and CHRIS STASSY shared the Highest Climber title after each climbing 22 positions.

Meanwhile, Josh Baker entered the poll at No.40 as this year’s Highest New Entry, while Indira Paganotto climbed ten places into the Top 30.

For us at LoudLife, the night was about more than simply watching the rankings unfold. From Lost Frequencies and Korolova to Anyma and Charlotte de Witte, we danced our way through the evening before watching David Guetta make history at the very top.

One night. One club. The biggest names in dance music. Ibiza at its best.
