Pyramid, Amnesia Ibiza’s renowned underground concept, heads to Iceland Eclipse Festival for a special takeover during the eclipse gathering.
One of Ibiza’s most respected underground brands is heading north. Iceland Eclipse Festival has announced that Amnesia Ibiza’s celebrated Pyramid concept will take over the Aurora Stage on August 13, bringing a slice of the White Isle’s legendary club culture to one of the world’s most extraordinary festival destinations.
For more than 50 years, Amnesia has played a defining role in shaping electronic music and Ibiza nightlife. Since launching in 2018, Pyramid has become one of the club’s flagship events, known for championing underground sounds, authentic dancefloor experiences and a music-first philosophy.
For its Iceland debut, Pyramid will present a carefully curated lineup featuring Tiga, Art Department, CiCi, Luca Donzelli and Nitin. The showcase arrives during a milestone year for Amnesia, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026.
Set against the dramatic backdrop of Iceland’s Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Iceland Eclipse Festival is unlike any other music event. Taking place from August 11 to 15, 2026, the intimate gathering is built around a once-in-a-lifetime astronomical event – Iceland’s final total solar eclipse until 2196. Attendance is limited to just 3,333 guests, creating a highly curated experience that blends music, science, culture, wellness and exploration. Surrounded by glaciers, volcanoes, lava fields, waterfalls and black-sand beaches, festivalgoers will witness one of nature’s rarest spectacles while enjoying a diverse programme of performances, talks and immersive experiences.
The addition of Pyramid further strengthens an already impressive music lineup featuring electronic music heavyweights such as Above & Beyond, ANNA, Apashe & Brass Orchestra, Booka Shade, Dave Clarke, GusGus, Ida Engberg, Kenny Dope, Maribou State, Nick Warren, Nightmares on Wax, Quantic, RJD2 and Zero 7, alongside a strong selection of Icelandic artists and emerging international talent.
Beyond music, the festival’s multidisciplinary programme brings together astronauts, scientists, technologists, artists and visionaries. Speakers include filmmaker Darren Aronofsky, musician and technology pioneer Imogen Heap, psychedelic research advocate Dr. Rick Doblin, and numerous astronauts and space exploration experts who will explore themes ranging from consciousness and creativity to the future of humanity.
The 2026 edition also features collaborations with a range of social impact organisations, including EarthPercent, MAPS, Playing For Change, ReWilding Iceland and Space For Humanity, reinforcing the festival’s mission to create meaningful connections between culture, nature and innovation.
