Solomun +1 Jamie xx Pacha Ibiza delivered one of the season’s most anticipated reunions as the acclaimed producer returned to Solomun’s iconic Sunday residency. The two artists came together once again at Pacha Ibiza on Sunday, July 13, continuing a creative partnership that has evolved both behind the decks and in the studio.

Jamie xx’s appearance marked his first return to the residency since August 2024. It also added another highlight to a season that blends longtime collaborators with fresh talent, bringing together some of the most exciting names in electronic music.

The artistic connection between Solomun and Jamie xx has continued to strengthen since their last Solomun +1 appearance. Earlier this year, Solomun released two remixes of Jamie xx’s Waited All Night, one of the standout tracks from the critically acclaimed In Waves LP.

Sunday’s event brought that musical dialogue back to the dancefloor. Jamie xx opened the night, Solomun followed with his signature journey, and the evening concluded with a special back-to-back set that showcased the chemistry between the two artists.

Jamie xx opened with the warm and spacious sound that has become his trademark. Rather than rushing into peak-time energy, he carefully built the atmosphere and guided the crowd through his musical vision.

His selection featured tracks from his own catalogue, including Treat Each Other Right, KILL DEM, and All You Children, his collaboration with The Avalanches. Along the way, he moved effortlessly between UK garage, jungle, and house, keeping the dancefloor engaged from start to finish.

By the time Jamie xx returned to the booth for the closing b2b, both artists had already established their own musical identity for the night. However, the real magic came when their contrasting styles merged into one seamless performance. The final set perfectly captured the spirit of Solomun +1, where collaboration takes centre stage and musical conversations unfold naturally. The night reached its emotional peak with Nacho Penade’s remix of Daft Punk and Pharrell Williams’ Lose Yourself to Dance. As the first light of sunrise appeared over Ibiza, the remix delivered one final euphoric moment that brought the crowd together.
