Here’s what went down at the newly crowned DJ Mag number one club in the world: Amsterdam’s Rooleh had the crowd under his spell with his powerful, groove-focused set in the Main Room. He then brought that momentum to the intimacy of the Wild Comet and got behind the decks again. Miguell & Tons took the ecstatic crowd in the Main Room on an invigorating journey through house music, before we arrived at ANOTR B2B PAWSA. The unbridled joy, the expertly woven setlist and the elevated atmosphere of this B2B are hard to fully capture in words. Seeing artists at the top of their games going B2B was a real “you had to be there” moment. The best part is: No Art is returning to do it all over again on 29 September.
The internationally renowned label and event series made a triumphant return to Ibiza to build on its standout one-off party at [UNVRS] last year. The event last night was the first of two highly anticipated takeovers of the world’s first hyperclub. These are nights rooted in culture, crafted with care, and built for those who seek more than just a dancefloor.
As we enter the final week of May, [UNVRS] is hosting three events that are equally as special:
Black Coffee | Wednesday 27 May
One of the most prominent names in electronic music will take control of [UNVRS] for three events this season. At the first event this Wednesday, the South African master will showcase his Afropolitan style of house and harness the sonic and technological might of the world’s first hyperclub. The lineup at this event features Ahmed Spins B2B DJ Tennis, Ben Sterling and Shoba. Black Coffee returns to [UNVRS] on 22 September and 01 October.
Charlotte De Witte | Friday 29 May
The Belgian techno queen is back for a one-night-only journey into her world of dark, stripped-back techno. Her hard-hitting sound and relentless energy pushed the [UNVRS] sound system into overdrive at her one-off event last year and became one of the standout moments of the season. The lineup features Enrico Sangiuliano and Theo Nasa.
The final night of the insane ANTS Day & Night event series that starts at Ushuaïa Ibiza and ends at [UNVRS]. The Ibiza institution is closing its run at the hyperclub with Fleur Shore, Loco Dice B2B Chris Lake, Manda Moor, Rafael, Rendher, and Kim April. ANTS then continues its world famous day parties at Ushuaïa Ibiza every Saturday until the 3rd of October.
