Interview With Creeds:
Hi Willy, thanks for being with LoudLife. The new year is already in motion, how does it feel so far? Are you ready for 2026?

Hi team, thank you for having me. So far everything is perfect! We start the year with some super good shows and a tons of new music ready to pop out. So far it seems like 2026 gonna be full of good things.

To kick things off, what’s your New Year’s resolution, musically or personally?

No matter what year it is, musically speaking it always be “do more, do better”. Personally speaking I’m lucky enough to be where I wanted to be, surrounded by amazing people, I couldn’t wish more!

Your new track “Dangerous” with Devin Wild delivers a dark, highly energetic atmosphere. How did this collaboration come together?

On my side, I’ve been familiar with Devin’s work through his Hardstyle tracks for a long time, but the real revelation came with his track Scorpio, which I played at many festivals for nearly a year. After that, we connected on social media, and the idea of a collaboration came about naturally. The main idea behind this collaboration was to blend the vibe present in Scorpio with my own musical universe.

What inspired you most about Devin’s approach to music?

I’m super impressed by Devin’s ability to combine crazy beautiful melodies, rough kick and awesome sound design skills; every track he delivers is a technical masterpiece like only a few could do!

Have you already tested “Dangerous” in your DJ sets? How has the crowd reacted so far, and do you feel it has the potential to become a defining track like “Push Up”, but with a different kind of energy?

I’ve been playing this track a lot in my sets and every time the reactions are amazing. I believe in this track as much as I love it, really. I couldn’t tell about the possible exposure it will (or not) have but in my mind there’s definitely something super unique about it that I’m sure will catch the attention; hopefully like Push Up, who knows? 😉

Devin Wild comes from the hardstyle scene. Do you think cross-scene collaborations like this represent the future of hard electronic music?

Well I don’t know if we can speak about future of hard music as I feel it’s already there. Hardtechno, as we know it these days, is in my opinion an extension of hardstyle and hardcore music so it feels pretty natural for our scene to blend with the harder genres.

You’re known for blending techno, hard dance, trance, and reverse bass. With “Dangerous”, was your main goal to push club energy even further, or to experiment more with sound design?

Dangerous is basically a display for this blend between genres. We wanted it to be super catchy even for someone who wouldn’t be that much into hard music but at the same time interesting enough to catch the OG electronic people that are super involved into the scene.

“Push Up” became a global turning point in your career. Did that success bring more pressure, or more creative freedom as a producer?

For the first months after the release it was so overwhelming that I felt indeed a bit a pressure, especially on the production side. I didn’t want to fall into the trap of trying and trying to make a second Push Up but I still wanted to keep that momentum.

It quickly vanished when I decided to not give a f*ck and keep doing things I like no matter what. Appart from my single “Closer” I didn’t release anything like Push Up and I’m happy I did that choice so new listeners could focus on the big picture and not just on that track.

You’ve recently started incorporating live piano into your sets, which is quite unusual in hard techno. What does this element bring to your performance, and how does the audience respond?

Yes indeed, we did a live tour in 2024, including piano on stage and a singer. As a piano player since I was a child it was my dream to be able to play it on stage for a techno show. Thing is that I use melodic hooks in my productions almost 100% of the time. Melodies I find by playing it in the studio so for me it’s a way to bring a new life to it by delivering it live on stage.

You’ve played massive events like Tomorrowland and toured major French festivals. Is there something about club shows versus festival stages that you still enjoy the most?

I love playing in festivals. It’s always times where we meet with other producers/friends we didn’t see in a while, people are really here on purpose and not by accident like we could experiment in a club. And I have to admit I love playing in front of a huge crowd. It’s basically a child’s dream coming true!

On the other side, in clubs,  I find an energy and a proximity with people that you can’t experiment on a festival stage. And let’s be honest, the raw vibe of a sweaty club is unbeatable!

Your remix of Linkin Park and collaborations across different scenes show that you’re not afraid to break genre boundaries. How important is it for you to constantly step outside your comfort zone?

I hate repetition in a career. I would always like more an artist that try different things, experiment with new sounds, new arrangements than someone that find a recipe and then extend it for ever.

It’s quite challenging to achieve this goal and I’m sure I did some stuff that sound like something I did before but I try my best to make my sound evolve while keeping my style and not get people completely lost by changing genre every time.

After “Dangerous”, can we expect more collaborations, or are you shifting your focus back to solo material? Is there any artist you’d still love to work with?

On the collab side  I still have one with Beauz but that would be one of the last for this year. We decided to focus more on solo tracks for 2026 as we released many collabs last year. I’m also planning an album so there will be collaboration with unexpected artists but I can’t say more 🙂

To wrap things up, do you have a message you’d like to share with your fans?

I couldn’t thank enough everybody that join the journey I’ve started more than 16 years ago. Without the amazing support people have shown along the way I wouldn’t be there so thank you all <3
