Interview with Nora En Pure:

We’re very happy to welcome Nora En Pure and her concept, Purified, here in Prague. Happy birthday, Nora!
Thank you so much, and thanks for having me.

How did you celebrate your birthday this year?
I was in Germany at the See You Festival, the same one I played at last year on my birthday, actually. Some of my family and friends came along, which is always really nice. It feels so special to play when your loved ones are there.

And now you’re back in Prague with Purified—it’s becoming something of a tradition. What makes the crowd, the venue, and the city special for you?
Somehow, I’ve been coming here for so many years now, and I think people really connect with the emotional side of my music, which I love. Often, I feel like I have to adjust a bit to what’s currently trending—less melodic, less deep—but here, people genuinely embrace the deep stuff. So every time I come back, it feels a bit like coming home. They really welcome the sound I stand for.

Your sound is deeply connected with nature. Where do you feel most at home—at a festival, an event, or in the forest or ocean?
Definitely in nature. I love the events, but deep down I’m a calm and slightly introverted person, so I really, really love being in nature. That’s where I draw most of my inspiration, strength, and energy. I love the ocean too, but my absolute favorite place is the African bush.

Do you have any pre-show rituals?
Always a glass of champagne, for sure!

Nice. And after the show, is there something you always like to do?
Maybe eat something, because I often get a bit tense before shows, so I usually don’t eat much. Having a proper, heartfelt meal afterwards feels really nice. And catching up with people, chatting, sharing that good energy—that’s something I love.

What’s the worst thing that could happen before a show? Missing your flight or losing your USB?
Oh, both are equally bad! Luckily, I haven’t really experienced either, but if there’s another flight I can catch, that’s manageable. Being at the show and realizing I don’t have my USB? That’s a nightmare. You’re already there and can’t fix it, and it’s just the worst feeling.

What’s new with Purified, and what can we expect from Nora En Pure in the near future?
Purified keeps growing with amazing artists. One of the absolute highlights this year will be the album from Corren Cavini; he’s put so much work into it, and he’s such a talented producer, so I’m really excited for that one.
As for me, I’m continuing to release singles. The next one I’m really excited about is called Space—it’s a vocal track. I just keep it chill and melodic, regardless of trends. I try to stay true to what I do best.

Thank you so much, Nora. It was a real pleasure to have you here with us.
