Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, violinist, and ANTHR FCKNG PARTY founder Kozlow drops his second single, “Cowboy Killers“, hot on the heels of his underground debut “Untitled.”

Known for blending indie house grooves with raw creativity, Kozlow leans into something different here: a playful, cinematic house cut that fuses funky basslines and four-on-the-floor energy with twangy guitar licks, cheeky vocals, and even the sound of a crow. The track was sparked by a trip to Stagecoach Festival and finished during a backyard session in Venice, CA, where a very vocal crow made its way onto the record. “It was the bird, the guitar, the groove,” Kozlow says. “And of course, a silly vocal to tie it all together.” As with all AFP releases, the visual identity is part of the art. Cover artwork and party posters are created by NYC film photographer Abi Polinsky, who serves as creative director for the label.
Listen To ” Cowboy Killers “
“‘Cowboy Killers’ came together after I got back from Stagecoach Music Festival a few years ago. I had the greatest time at the festival and left wondering how I could fuse country / western themes with modern indie dance production. I was working on my laptop in my buddy’s backyard in Venice, CA, and this crow, who ppears to live in my buddy’s backyard, was being pretty vocal with his thoughts on the record, and suddenly these three elements made perfect sense to me – the bird, the guitar, the groove. And of course, a silly vocal to bring the whole thing home.” – Kozlow
