Carl Cox, the world’s best known techno DJ, live artist and producer, founder of Awesome Soundwave, Intec, 23rd Century and many other labels, innovator and originator from the early days of rave to the world’s biggest festivals of today and Perry Farrell, lead singer of the legendary Jane’s Addiction, Porno for Pyros, songwriter extraordinaire, DJ and founder of the famous Lollapalooza festivals have come together to write and produce Joya.
In a true blend of styles and sensibilities, the duo have created a song with a deep and resonant message of hope that is so relevant in these times (and any time, for that matter).
Joya is a singular gem in it’s uplifting sound and a powerful and melodic lyrical exploration of what it is to explore our humanity, community and the coming together to dance and be joyful.
As Perry says:
