Joseph Capriati has brought his Metamorfosi 2026 season at Amnesia Ibiza to a close after another standout summer residency. Throughout the season, LoudLife had the chance to experience several of the residency’s nights firsthand, witnessing the energy, atmosphere and musical diversity that made Metamorfosi one of the key weekly sessions at Amnesia this summer.

Running every Tuesday from 30th June to 29th September, the residency formed part of Amnesia Ibiza’s 50th anniversary year and marked Capriati’s return to the club where his career developed. Across the season, Metamorfosi welcomed a strong mix of established names and emerging talent, including Richie Hawtin, Jamie Jones, Chris Stassy, Seth Troxler, Mau P, Josh Baker, Max Dean and Ben Klock, alongside Maceo Plex, WhoMadeWho, Damian Lazarus, Freddy K, Cloonee, Dubfire, Anfisa Letyago, Traumer, Fatima Hajji and Wade.
The sold-out closing night on 29th September brought the residency to its final chapter with a B3B featuring Joseph Capriati, Jamie Jones and Chris Stassy. The trio moved between red-hot new IDs, summer favourites and slick house and techno grooves, bringing the 2026 season to a final close on the Terrace.
Alongside its Terrace programme, Metamorfosi placed real emphasis on the Club Room, creating a dedicated space for underground techno throughout the summer. Artists including Alarico, Serafina, Adiel and Quest joined a new generation of artists shaping the current underground techno landscape, alongside established names from the genre.
The dual-room format became an important part of Metamorfosi’s identity throughout the season, with the Terrace and Club Room offering two different but complementary musical directions. While the Terrace carried the energy of the main residency, the Club Room provided a deeper, more underground counterpoint.
The final chapter continued beyond Amnesia with “THE DAY AFTER” at 528, extending the celebration and giving the Metamorfosi family one more moment together before closing the book on another summer in Ibiza.
For Joseph Capriati, it marked the end of another season at one of Ibiza’s most iconic clubs. For LoudLife, having experienced several Metamorfosi nights throughout the summer, it was a chance to see firsthand how the residency brought together different generations, sounds and sides of the island’s electronic music culture.
