Leading the release is focus track ‘Can I Feel?’ with Rafael Cerato, a sun-kissed, diva-leaning anthem where soulful vocals rise skyward over rippling electro production. Euphoric yet driving, it perfectly balances emotion and impact as a certified dancefloor anthem.
The album journey as a whole commences with ‘Love Is Gonna Save Us’ alongside ARTBAT, an intergalactic vocal mantra echoing on the title that then explodes into a colossal progressive-leaning drop, before ‘The Future’ with Zamna Soundsystem and Laherte stretches house music into bold new dimensions, with whisper-soft vocals and a soaring waterfall breakdown.
Elsewhere, ‘DISCOTEKA’ with Tobias Gerard injects funk-soaked swagger that drips like honey with its nod to the classic era, yet remains of the moment with its stellar and fresh vision, as ‘Superstar’ with Chris Nasty delivers ballroom attitude and street-level flair thanks to references to Brooklyn, hometown heroes and legends alike, as bold declarations of “Yes, I am!” transform the track into a celebration of self-expression and identity. ‘Chicago Baby’ follows similar suit, seeing Benassi unite with house legend Felix Da Housecat for a future-classic call to arms. “Can we talk about house music? / You already know… It’s Chicago, baby!” ringing out over honeyed vocals and rich electro squiggles of synth.
