Multifaceted artist and producer Parra for Cuva releases “Juri,” the third and final single from Nacar, his sixth studio album arriving May 15.

Built around self-played percussion, layered textures, and chopped vocal samples, the track offers a direct introduction to the album’s handcrafted rhythmic core, balancing warm, driving grooves with a subtle sense of intimacy and dancefloor energy.
“Juri’ is a natural introduction to the sonic language of Nacar. Built around self-played percussion, layered organic textures, and chopped vocal samples, the track combines acoustic elements with precise electronic production. The groove is driving but warm, balancing dancefloor energy with a certain intimacy. It sets the foundation for the album’s approach: handcrafted sounds shaped into something detailed, fluid, and alive.”
explains Nico Demuth, alias Parra for Cuva.
Where “Selva, Selva” leaned into Latin-infused ceremonial textures and “Towards Amber” opened up a more introspective space, “Juri” sits between them — propulsive yet personal, combining acoustic elements with precise electronic production.
The track is one of three solo compositions on the 12-track album, alongside “Selva, Selva” and “Towards Amber”. The remaining nine tracks bring in a range of collaborators including Nathan Ball, orbit, CRi, PALLADIAN, Aukai, Vines, Vraell, and Cile. Field recordings captured during recent sessions in Costa Rica are woven throughout the record, connecting the production directly to the environments where parts of it were conceived.

The album arrives less than a month before his Berlin release event at Huxley’s Neue Welt on May 16, which launches the Nacar Tour. The European leg runs from late September through October, with stops at London’s Roundhouse, Amsterdam’s Paradiso, Paris’s La Cigale, and nine other cities. The tour then crosses the Atlantic for a North American run spanning San Francisco, Chicago, Brooklyn, Miami, Toronto, and eight additional markets through mid-November.
