The shift to Gstaad represents an evolution for Caprices. After more than two decades shaping the blueprint for mountain festivals worldwide, the event now enters a refreshed phase that deepens integration with the surrounding environment, improves protection from the elements, and unlocks new creative possibilities for staging and design. At its core, Caprices remains guided by the values that have defined it for over 20 years, meticulous curation, world-class sound, and an international community of music lovers spanning more than 75 countries.

A refined access system sees gondolas operating continuously from midday until 4AM, with a swift seven-minute ascent to the summit. At the top, the Eggli site enables the development of three distinct glasshouse stages. The Peak Stage is designed for large-scale performances framed by sweeping alpine views; the CNTRL Stage offers a more intimate environment built for extended sets and special back-to-back performances; and the Ridge Stage focuses on experimental sounds and immersive concepts. Across all spaces, Caprices perpetuates its long-standing reputation for ambitious production standards.

“Caprices has always been about the connection between nature, art and music. By moving to Gstaad, we remain faithful to this vision while taking the overall experience to an even higher level,”

says Maxime Léonard, Co-Founder and CEO of Caprices Festival.

The 2026 edition brings together long-standing Caprices collaborators alongside a wide spectrum of contemporary artists shaping today’s global electronic music landscape. Returning artists including Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano in a special back-to-back with Dennis Cruz, Sonja Moonear, Sven Väth, DJ Tennis, Jamie Jones, Bedouin, Dan Ghenacia b2b Alci, and RPR Soundsystem reflect the deep relationships the festival has built with its artistic community over the years.

Alongside these names, the 2026 lineup also features artists from across house, techno, and minimal scenes, including Vintage Culture, Josh Baker, Mau P, Adam Ten, Mita Gami, Alisha, Cincity, Sally C, Stoffela, DVS1, Ilario Alicante, Joseph Capriati, Mind Against, Rossi., Ryan Elliott b2b Quest, and WhoMadeWho with their lauded Hybrid Set, cementing a programme that balances heritage with forward momentum.

To support the new format, Caprices is offering a wide range of accommodation options throughout the Gstaad region. Guests can choose from luxury hotels, mid-range stays and budget-friendly options, alongside curated apartments and chalets available through official partner platforms and listings on the Caprices website. This flexible approach allows visitors to tailor their experience, whether planning a premium alpine getaway or a group-focused festival trip.

A dedicated shuttle bus network will operate across the wider region, connecting Saanen, Rougemont, Schönried, Saanenmöser, Turbach, Lauenen, and Zweisimmen with both the resort and festival site. Services will run day and night, ensuring smooth access throughout the event. Full timetables and stop details will be published on the Caprices website ahead of the festival.
